The "second" season has started. If you played in last year's playoff pool, you know the rules. If you didn't, read on.
The scoring is then based on the following:
If your team wins, deduct the points you predicted from the difference in the score of that game; that is your "points" for that game. For instance, if you pick Cincinnati to beat Las Vegas by 7 points and the final score is Cin 34 - Las 30, the difference in the game score is 4. Since you picked 7, your "points" for that game would be 3 (7-4).
In the example above, if you picked Las Vegas to beat Cincinnati by 7, you
then add the difference between your prediction and the difference in the game score + 4 penalty points. Your "points" then would be 15 (7+4+4).
-
The winner will be the player with the least points at the end of the playoffs. The tiebreaker is the total points in the Super Bowl. If there is still a tie, those players would split that portion of the pot.
The top five players will split the pot ($920) based on a 40%, 25%, 20%, 10% and 5%
of the pot.
Good Luck to everyone!
