The "second" season has started. If you played in last year's playoff pool, you know the rules. If you didn't, read on.
  • There are 11 games in the playoffs. You pick the winner of the game straight up and the total points that you think that team will win by.
The scoring is then based on the following:
  • If your team wins, deduct the points you predicted from the difference in the score of that game; that is your "points" for that game. For instance, if you pick Denver to beat Oakland by 7 points and the final score is Den 34 - Oak 30, the difference in the game score is 4. Since you picked 7, your "points" for that game would be 3 (7-4).
  • In the example above, if you picked Oakland to beat Denver by 7, you then add the difference between your prediction and the difference in the game score + 3 points. Your "points" then would be 14 (7+4+3).
  • The winner will be the player with the least points at the end of the playoffs. The tiebreaker is the total points in the Super Bowl. If there is still a tie, those players would split that portion of the pot.
  • The top five players will split the pot ($900) based on a 40%, 25%, 20%, 10% and 5% of the pot.
Good Luck to everyone!
